1. The beveled edge is the original edge.
As you can see from the picture above, the beveled edge is ground at a shallow angle and is a durable edge for a more forced cut and is not good for advanced techniques such as slide cutting

2. The convex edge
Is a sharper, steeper edge that is suited for all types of cutting. Most sharpeners don't even attempt to recreate this edge but cut the edge at a 90 degree angle that renders the shear almost worthless, but never fear this can be fixed at ShearDeals. {See our sharpening section}

3. The serrated edge {not shown}
A favorite of barbers, known for its ability to cut dry hair without pushing.
